Two picturesque 9-hole golf courses set in the rolling hills of North Wales between Abergele and Colwyn Bay, which can be combined to give an 18 hole round.

Play either Front Nine or the Back Nine or a full 18 holes, the choice is entirely yours and you.
Silver Birch has become one of the most popular pay and play courses on the North Wales golfing scene. Situated in a natural hollow between the sea and hills, the Front Nine was completed in 1995 and offers a facility unrivalled for its scenic quality and interesting terrain.
Designed with the complete amateur in mind, the course is also a very challenging one for the low handicap player. Many a keen golfer has cursed the "Grand Canyon" which, as the name implies, is played over a gorge with a stream in the bottom. The Back Nine was completed in 2004, allowing a full 18 holes to be played. It has recently been affiliated to the Golfing Union of Wales, with a very difficult, SSS of 59 for the whole course.
The less committed player could be forgiven for a lapse of concentration to simply stand and enjoy the views from the course which take in lush green pastures, wooded hillsides and the village of Betws-yn-Rhos nestling in the shelter of the hills with its attractive twin tower Church at its centre.
